Saturday, May21, we are releasing our 2014 vintage Chateau Rouge. Chateau Rouge is a blend of our Rhone varieties, including Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Carignan and Roussanne. This wine spent four months in a French oak barrel. It is a medium bodied, dry red and one we can’t wait to enjoy. While this vintage will be available to taste for free all weekend long, thereafter it will only be available to taste from our Premium Wine Tasting section.
We are also conducting our Vineyard & Winery Tour this Saturday, May 14, at 3:00. If you would like to make reservations, please use the form on our website. Cost is just $15 per person, or free for any Club 228 member.

This Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, we will be featuring singer, songwriter David Tribble playing his own compositions from 3:00 – 5:00 in the tasting room. Starting at noon, we’ll be serving up some really savory delights, like hot chili to warm your soul, dips, chips and stuff, all free of charge. Of course, we welcome your wine purchases! Our first harvest of 2015 is finally here! The Chardonnay grapes are ripe and ready to give up their juice to make some great Arché wine! Would you like to try your hand at picking grapes? Here are details:
We start at 7:30 a.m.
Be prepared for sun and heat so you will want to wear a hat and sunscreen.
There are lots of sandburs, so do not wear sandals. Boots are best if you have them.
We have clippers (pruners) but you can bring your own if you have them.
We will provide water, snacks and a big lunch buffet with wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
All participants must be at least 12 years old. Children must stay with their parent(s) at all times.
Please no pets.
