Red River Wine Trail

Arché,
Weinhof and Wichita Falls Vineyard and Winery comprise the new Red River Wine Trail. We invite you to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Red River Valley in the scenic North Texas Hill Country. You will be amazed by the magnificent valley vistas, beautiful green rolling hills, and wind-swept fields and prairies awash with the vibrant colors of the local wildflowers in the spring. The key is to travel the "back roads" off the main Highway 82.

The east end of the Trail is Weinhof in Muenster. Arché, located in the center of the trail between Weinhof and Wichita Falls Vineyard and Winery, is six miles north of Saint Jo off FM 677. Wichita Falls Winery is located on the west end of the trail in Iowa Park. All three wineries are on the Texas side of the Red River.

You can make your visit a weekend getaway in Saint Jo with a stay at the Texas Kings Hotel and a visit to the Davis & Blevins Main Street Gallery. Saint Jo is home to the renown Cowgirl artist, Donna Howell-Sickles. Her Gallery hosts Howell-Sickles' works as well as those of seven additionally featured artists. For lunch during the week you can great a great hamburger at Wildhorses Cafe, also open for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights. Also for dinner, you'll find the best pizza in Texas around the corner from us at Ancient Ovens (reservations required - we suggest you call 2 to 3 weeks in advance). For more things to do check out the Saint Jo Chamber of Commerce website.

While in Iowa Park, you can stay at the Park Place Inn (103 West Park St., Iowa Park, 940-592-9333), a bed and breakfast 5 miles from Wichita Falls Winery. There are multiple restaurants in the area and the casinos are only 15 minutes away in Oklahoma.

Our web site and wines are meant to be enjoyed by people of legal drinking
age. Please respect the law and come back when you reach 21. Thanks
